Cuban President visits Cuba’s central provinces

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel will visit the central provinces of Villa Clara and Cienfuegos today to evaluate work priorities for 2024.

Yesterday, the president toured economic and social centers in Ciego de Avila and Sancti Spiritus and also talked with the people of those areas.

Díaz-Canel said on the social network X that the working days were a time for learning and strengthening convictions together with the Cuban people.

“We are going to get out of the difficult situation by working; in Cuba there is a lot of talent and will. We prove it at every step,” he said on the platform.

During the meetings with the people, he explained that the socio-economic measures announced by the Government’s top management in December, will be applied when the conditions are created, with the necessary care for the most vulnerable people.
