Cuba and Colombia hold migration talks

The 4th Round of Talks on Migration Issues between Cuba and Colombia will be held in this capital, the Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday

The Colombian delegation will be headed by Fulvia Elvira Benavides Cotes, director of Migratory, Consular, and Citizen Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, while the Cuban delegation will be chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodríguez Perdomo.

The meeting, which will allow for the resumption of dialogue on migration and consular matters, will review the implementation of joint actions to guarantee safe, regular and orderly migration, and to discourage illegal acts associated with irregular migration, according to the Foreign Ministry’s press release.
