President Nicolas Maduro announced that he will release proof in the coming hours of Colombia”s involvement in the failed assassination perpetrated against him on August 4.

‘I inform the people of Venezuela that we continue to work on the magnicide investigations in degree of frustration. I will be releasing strong proof in the coming few hours of the relations the Colombian oligarchy has with the events occurred on Bolivar Avenue in Caracas,’ the president posted on his Twitter account.

He stressed that the police and State security bodies have gathered the proof in record time, while the existence of sufficient proof of the participation of the Colombian government in the criminal assasination attempt was also highlighted.

‘We have the location and the names, in Chinacota, north of Santander (Colombia), the murderers were trained, we will show them with proof and testimonies in the next few hours,’ the Venezuelan leader said.

A group of terrorists tried to assassinate the president of Venezuela on Saturday, August 4 at 5:41 p.m. by using drones loaded with explosives, during the celebration of the military parade in honor of the 81st anniversary of the Bolivarian National Guard on Avenida Bolivar, Caracas.
