Holland Leads Group B at the 2014 Soccer World Cup

The Tulips added three points that placed them ahead in Group B. 

Netherlands beat Chile 2-0 in the game that defined the Group B leader B in the World Cup in Brazil, while Spain saved its honor with its 3-0 victory over Australia.

The Tulips, three times world runner-up, added three points that placed them ahead in Group B and in the process avoided Brazil in the round of 16.

Holland heads Group B with nine points, followed by Chile (6), Spain (3) and Australia (0).

In the round of 16, the Netherlands will face Mexico, while Chile will play against the five times world champions Brazil.

Spain, who came to this event as defending champion, packed up early, however it retired with head up after defeating Australia 3-0.
