The young musician’s last performance was last week in Canada, when Buena Fe toured the country to launch its CD Sobreviviente (Survivor)
The Cuban group Buena Fe expressed sorrow on Saturday for the death of its guitarist Dairon Rodriguez, who passed away at the age of 32 as a result of a heart attack.
‘With the deepest sorrow we bid farewell to a brother. It is the news that we never want to break, but life has surprised us with that loss,’ the group posed on its Facebook profile.
‘Dear Dairon, it has been a pleasure to work with you. To his parents, who are also our family, a bear hug,’ adds the text.
The young musical producer and arranger had recovered from a heart attack he had suffered several months ago, but on Saturday at dawn, he suffered another one that he could not overcome, his relatives and friends informed on social networks.
Rodriguez, who was born in 1984, studied music at the Alejandro Garcia Caturla Conservatory and classic guitar at the Felix Varela School.
His last performance was last week in Canada, when Buena Fe toured the country to launch its CD Sobreviviente (Survivor).
