Brazil 2014 World Cup was inaugurated this Thursday, June 12th, at Sao Paulo’s Arena Corinthians, which led to the first game of the event, the match between Brasil and Croatia. The ceremony lasted only 25 minutes, thus becoming one of the shortest in the history of World Cup competitions.

The show artistic director, Brazilian Daphné Cornez, had indicated that it was a homage to mother nature, dance, and local football.

Its major attraction was a huge LED sphere which was constantly moving. The sphere had 90 thousand clusters, and 7000 nits brightness.
