Sancti Spiritus: Local Innovations Help Economic Development

The over 12 000 members of the Rationalization and Innovation Association (ANIR) in Sancti Spiritus, have made important contributions  in the productive and social spheres. Last year, 1 731 innovations were implemented.

Last year, 1 731 innovations were implemented, most of which allowed savings and had a great impact on work productivity.

ANIR President in the territory Esperanza Castro Cantero, told Escambray digital about the work of the organization in 2011 and highlighted the importance of technological innovations to support all prioritized tasks.

Working on solutions to substitute importations and to improve the production of foodstuffs, are among the most important goals of the association.
