Mexican President arrives in Cuba on Wednesday to pay an official visit, as part of a tour that will also include Haiti and Colombia. According to official sources, during his visit to Cuba, which will conclude on Thursday, Felipe Calderon will meet with local authorities.

Calderon will also pay tribute to Cuban National Hero Jose Marti in the Havana complex dedicated to the Apostle of national independence. He will resume talks on political and migration issues, as well as on the exploitation of shared oil resources.

The Mexican president’s tour will conclude in the Colombian city of Cartagena de Indias, where he will participate in the 6th Summit of the Americas on April 14 and 15.
