According to Granma journal, the compliance report of the work objectives adopted at the First National Conference of the Party was also analyzed.

According to the source, several interventions mentioned the positive influence on the daily work of the organization and the continuity given to the guidelines outlined by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party on the conclusions of that Conference.

At the meeting, held on Saturday, it was found that progress has been made in the functioning of the structures of the Party at all levels and revealed how the party organizations have given in their meetings and sessions a special place to the full implementation of the Guidelines for Economic and Social Policy.

However, it was recognized that insufficiencies in the work of the organization still persist, which should be rectified as soon as possible.

The plenum considered appropriate to continue to deepen the issues associated with the Conceptualization and resume the analysis the next month.

Besides, the members of the Central Committee also analyzed the behaviour of the Cuban economy in 2015, as well as the reports of Economy Plan and the State Budget for 2016, which will be submitted to the approval of the National Assembly of the People’s Power tomorrow.
