Hundreds of thousands of Cubans are marching through the iconic Revolution’s square in Havana to celebrate International Workers’ Day.

This year the date also celebrates the ongoing socio-economic reforms in the Caribbean island, which aim to make Cuban socialism, a sustainable and prosperous model.

According to reports, the Cuban president arrived early in the site of the concentration to accompany the workers, intellectuals, youth, students, men and women who came to this historic square to celebrate together this fest of the world proletariat.
