The members of the Jose Martí European Brigade of Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba arrived in Sancti Spiritus last July 15th for a six-day visit

The group, made up of people from Spain, Belgium, Portugal, France, Turkey, United Kingdom, Greece, Italy, Switzerland and Germany traveled to Cuba to learn firsthand the social, economic, cultural and historical reality of this central region of the country.

This is the 47th time this brigade comes to Cuba and according to Spanish Manuel Morales; there will be many other visits. He also highlighted the interest of young people from his country to join the group.

For Morales, who has integrated the group on four occasions, the presence of the new generations in terms of disseminating the Cuban reality in the world, often manipulated by the transnationals of information, is of great importance.

Like in previous occasions, visitors will be touring important historical sites of the territory, including those in the municipalities of Yaguajay and Trinidad.
