The President of the Republic of Honduras Juan Orlando Hernandez Alvarado will arrive in Cuba on an official visit, during which he will hold talks with President Raul Castro.
President Hernandez Alvarado is expected to arrive in morning hours at Havana’s International Airport and later he will lay a
wreath at the monument of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti at the Revolution Square.
During his visit, a business forum will be held at the National Hotel, which will include the signing of bilateral accords between Havana and Tegucigalpa.
President Juan Orlando Hernandez Alvarado, was born 28 October 1968. He is a lawyer. He held several responsibilities at Honduras National Congress and was president of the Honduran National Party.
Hernandez Alvarado
was elected Honduran President in January 2014.He is married and has
four children.
