The Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) coalition approaches legislative elections on Sunday with the support from different social sectors and the grass roots
On Tuesday, the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity issued a statement to support GPP candidates and reject the plans designed by the worldwide right in order to destabilize Venezuela.
In addition, the international organization demanded respect towards the country’s electoral system, assessed by experts from different countries and positions in the political landscape, as he condemned the hostility of institutions like the Organization of American States (OAS) and the U.S. government.
According to the Venezuelan writer and intellectual Luis Britto, it is necessary that the parts involved in the elections commit to accept the results and preserve the peace.
In none of the elections carried out in Venezuela during the Bolivarian Revolution, the opposition complied with the wishes of the people, he added.
Meanwhile, students, workers, teachers and artists at the National Experimental University of the Arts also voiced their support to the GPP.
They insisted on the need to preserve the achievements made by the revolutionaries in the cultural field.
