Cuban President Raul Castro received last week in Havana his Panamanian counterpart Juan Carlos Varela who spent a four-day official visit, along a large business delegation.
At the official welcoming ceremony were present the Panamanian VP and Foreign Minister Isabel de Saint Malo, and the Minister of Trade and Industry Melitón Arrocha. On the Cuban side were the Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca.
Earlier in the morning, Valera and his delegation laid a floral wreath to Cuban National Hero Jose Marti.
