Venezuelan Defense Minister, Carmen Melendez highlighted today the civic-military unity of the country, lesson of the deceased President Hugo Chavez, which first year of his death is commemorated today.
This unity is increasingly strengthened, we are together to defend our homeland. The people love us, want us and we are with it, she emphasized.
Referring to the commemoration activities to mark the first year of Chavez decease, she urged the people to take part in the parade that will be attended by various Heads of States of the region.
She invited the people to the “Paseo de los Proceres”, in order to pay tribute to Chavez, she urged.
The parade that will exhibit the defensive technique of the South American nation, and the tribute at the Mountain Garrison, where his mortal remains rests, are among the commemoration activities.
There will be also the premier of the documentary Mi Friend Hugo, of the US producer Olive Stone, a rapprochement to the live and work of the main mastermind of the Bolivarian Revolution.
