Although recent rains were not as intense as those of the previous week, Sancti Spiritus province, in central Cuba, was hit again this Saturday with significant accumulations in some locations in the center and south of the territory.
The Weather Forecasting Center reported as the most notable figure that of Tuinucu Dam, with 117 mm in 24 hours.
Also significant were records in the meteorological stations from Trinidad (92mm) and Topes de Collantes (72mm), volumes reached in only six hours.
The report notes that heavy rains from Friday 8:00 am to Saturday at the same hour were intense from Pinar del Rio to Sancti Spiritus.
