Since the beginning of the year, when the process of reorganizing began in Sancti Spiritus, more than 800 health services have been given order to in the Cuban central province. Thus, medical care has reached communities in a more appropriate way.

One of the levels of the health system with more benefits from this reorganization process has been Primary Health Care, where 555 family doctor facilities have been already opened with the presence of the doctor and a nurse.
The reopening of such establishments has benefited also from a process of restoration which brought about better comfort thanks to the carpentry, lighting and hydro-sanitary works carried out.
Reorganization in Sancti Spiritus not only looks at regrouping diagnose means, health facilities and the labor forces, but also at increasing the quality of the services provided to the population.
