Diplomat Roy Chaderton has exhorted Venezuelans to be prepared for a possible foreign military intervention against the South American country, either by Colombian troops or a coalition formed by the United States.

During the Venezolana de Television program ‘Con Amorin’, the Venezuelan lawyer reiterated the warnings of a probable armed attack against the Latin American nation.

According to Chaderton, a plan similar to that implemented by Washington to achieve the overthrow of the government of Saddam Hussein in Iraq; and Muammar Gaddafi, in Libya, is in execution.

‘We are facing an imminent invasion of troops from neighboring countries backed by the U.S. army, which will bring nothing but desolation and death to Venezuela,’ Chaderton stressed.

He denounced the roles in that plot of the International Criminal Court and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), which he described as institutions established or maintained to defend the interests of the empire.

He also criticized the continuing media campaign against Venezuela from major media, at the service of the rightwing, to increase false information about a supposed democratic disorder in the South American country to justify the aggression.
