In the communities of the Turkish Plan of the mountains of the south and north of the Sancti Spiritus, the dialogue and study of the tabloid with the Draft Constitution is being developed
The mass, social, peasant and workers” organizations of Sancti Spiritus have declared today ready to begin the process of popular consultation on the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Cuba next Monday.
The members of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) and the Federation of Cuban Women hold preliminary debates in the base organizations of the draft constitution.
The main task of the CDR members will be to discuss and offer our experiences to enrich the new Constitution, to ensure the future of the Revolution, said Marianela Valdes, the CDR coordinator in this town.
Deivy Aquino, from the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC), told Prensa Latina that all the people should know and contribute to the enrichment of the draft Constitution, which will be endorsed by the National Assembly of People’s Power next year.
The members of the ACRC, he added, have the duty to be with the new generations in this important task which marks the continuity of the Revolution and will strengthen the social and economic development of the country.
Likewise, in the communities of the Turkish Plan of the mountains of the south and north of the province of Sancti Spiritus, the dialogue and study of the tabloid with the Draft Constitution is being developed.
The consultation with the people will be conducted throughout the country, according to the National Assembly, by some 7,600 duos and 135,000 meetings will be held from August 13 to November 15.
