Debates Begin at World Youth Festival in Ecuador

The 18th World Festival of Youth and Students opened doors to debates among representatives of the world youth, coming from 83 nations at Quito’s Bicentenary Park. According to the festival agenda, lectures, seminars, workshops, and forums will encourage debates among delegates and guests in favor of peace, sovereignty, and solidarity among the peoples. The 18th World Festival of Youth and Students opened doors to debates among representatives of the world youth, coming from 83 nations at Quito’s Bicentenary Park.

According to the festival agenda, lectures, seminars, workshops, and forums will encourage debates among delegates and guests in favor of peace, sovereignty, and solidarity among the peoples.

Among topics for discussions are imperialist antagonisms, conflicts and hazards, organized resistance, and the fight for determination and against blockades, embargos, and sanctions.

Other topics include foreign military bases, military agreements and alliances, peace agreements, and demilitarization, religious and ethnic conflicts: instruments of the imperialism.

This second day of the international event will be marked by recreational activities which will show the cultural diversity of the five continents’ peoples.
