The National Constituent Assembly (ANC) has ratified Nicolas Maduro as a president of Venezuela for fully complying with all his constitutional duties and obligations
The decision was announced last night by ANC First Vice-President, Aristobulo Isturiz, who recognized, on behalf of the highest constitutional body, that Maduro has fulfilled his obligations, ‘attending the mandate granted by the sovereign people of Venezuela.’ The ANC ordered to release this constitutional decree at the Official Gazette and the head of State will be informed of the decision unanimously voted at the plenary session of the Assembly.
Some few hours earlier, Maduro attended the Legislative Federal Palace, headquarters of the ANC, where he recognized the plenipotentiary power of this body and placed his position at the service of it, whose members were elected on July 30.
