Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, today praised the ”brotherhood” and ”strategic cooperation” between Cuba and Venezuela, which he described as ”brother countries” practicing ”love and solidarity”.
In a statement to the press, shortly after his arrival at the Jose Marti International Airport in Havana, where he was received by the Cuban First Vice President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, Maduro stated that the reason for his trip to the Caribbean island was for a scheduled review of bilateral agreements, which will be in place until 2030.
“All economic, financial and energy cooperation between Caracas and Havana, as well as in the framework of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America and other mechanisms of regional integration are included in them,” the President said.
The President, who will meet his counterpart Raul Casto, was accompanied by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Delcy Rodriguez.
