The historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, met in Havana with former Uruguayan President Jose Mujica, who is currently visiting Cuba
The Uruguayan leader took part in the recent international conference “For All and for the Good of All,” dedicated to Cuba’s National Hero Jose Marti.
Speaking to reporters after the visit, Mujica said that he talked with Fidel about a number of issues, including the recent proliferation of the Zika virus in the world. Fidel Castro and Jose Mujica also discussed cattle raising and the importance of finding technical solutions to this area of food production.
