Escambray ENGLISH EDITION
University students and youth from Sancti Spiritus will stage the traditional torch march which is held every January 27th, to mark the birthday anniversary of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti.
According to a local youth organization source, the march will be started after an address by the President of the University Student Federation (FEU), Alejandro Clemente Triana.
The torch parade will also salute the 10th Congress of the Youth Communist League, to be held next July in Havana, and which will be dedicated to the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.
Children, Youth Honor Jose Marti in Sancti Spiritus
On Wednesday, younger students will also honor the Cuban Hero when they take part in the also traditional pioneer parade.
