Cuban President Raul Castro welcomed on Saturday the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Secretary of International Relations, Kang Sok Su.
In a friendly atmosphere, Raul Castro, who is also the PCC first secretary, and Kang Sok Su reviewed the state of relations between the two parties and countries, as well as other national and international issues, according to an official press release.
Also present at the meeting were the ambassador from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to Cuba, Pak Chong Yul, and the Deputy Director of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Pak Kun Gwang.
On behalf of Cuba, the meeting was attended by Second PCC Secretary Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, and Jose Ramon Balaguer and Oscar Martínez, director and deputy director of the International Relations Department of the PCC Central Committee, respectively.
