The II Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) will be a success for the regional integration, said today the Cuban Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Teresita González.
Segments prior to this magna meeting will take place in Havana from January 25 to 27, when national coordinators and Foreign Ministers will reconcile the themes to be analyzed by the Heads of State on January 28 and 29.
The vice minister stated the discussion will focus on the fight against poverty, hunger and inequality.
The presidential summit is expected to be attended by representatives of the 33 countries members and the vast majority of the Heads of State and Foreign Ministers, she said.
Also a large number of special guests are expected, mainly executives of regional and international organizations linked to the CELAC, she informed.
Today the media was able to verify the logistical organization of Pabexpo showground, in this capital, venue of the event.
