Venezuelan Vice President Arrives in Cuba

Nicolas Maduro was welcomed at Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.

Venezuelan Executive Vice President Nicolas Maduro arrived at Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport early on Saturday, from where he directly went to the hospital where President Hugo Chavez Frias is receiving treatment.

Maduro greeted Chavez’s relatives and Venezuelan Minister of Science and Technology Jorge Arreaza Monserrat, and discussed with physicians the right moment to visit the President today.

The vice president is accompanied by Attorney General Cilia Flores.

Politburo member and Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla welcomed Maduro at the capital’s airport.
