Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez arrived in Havana on Friday night, and was welcomed by his Cuban counterpart, Raul Castro. Chavez traveled to Cuba for medical care due to a new lesion found in the same area where a tumor was removed in June 2011.Chavez arrived smiling at the Jose Marti International Airport. He was accompanied by Health Minister Eugenia Sader, Minister of the Presidency Erika Farias and his brother Adan Chavez, governor of Bariñas state.
The Venezuela president, who received a mass farewell in Caracas, traveled to Cuba for medical care due to a new lesion found in the same area where a tumor was removed in June 2011.
