Cuban Popular Singer X Alfonso Performs in Sancti Spiritus

Multifaceted singer-songwriter X Alfonso is to give a concert in Sancti Spiritus, city located in central Cuba, as part of a national tour for some territories of the country’s geography. X Alfonso is considered to be among the best national artists recognized worldwide.

“Alfonso will perform for Sancti Spiritus residents Sunday 22^nd, at 9:00 pm in the Conrado Benitez Cinema at request of the singer”, explained to Escambray Iliarsis Gonzalez, representative of the province’s Music Center.

X intends to promote his most recent production entitled Reverse, which includes 12 songs and is qualified by the artist himself as pure rock and uninhibited work, but he also is to sing some pieces of his previous CDs Civilizacion and Revoluxion as well as the ones created for the soundtrack of the Cuban film Habana Blues which granted him a Goya Award for best original music.

The singer returns to Sancti Spiritus after his last visit on December 2011 to the province’s University Jose Marti, where he honored the foundation anniversary of the institution.

The national tour for Cuba, first to be offered by the artist, started on January 13^th in eastern Guantanamo and is to be ended with a special performance in Havana on February 4^th.
