German airline Condor returned to Varadero, Cuba’s largest beach resort

The German Condor airline resumed Tuesday its regular flights to Varadero, Cuba’s most significant and main beach resort, after eight months of interrupted trips due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The flight departed from Frankfurt and touched down at 9:35 p.m. (local time) at the Juan Gualberto Gómez International Airport in the western Cuban province of Matanzas. The Boeing-767 flight carried 249 passengers on board, civil aviation sources confirmed to Prensa Latina.

For the rest of December, the European airline will have flights to Varadero on the 24th, 28th, and 31st, all departing from Frankfurt.
