Bolivian President Evo Morales will propose participation of representatives from the 133 countries that shape the G-77 plus China, in Santa Cruz Fair and Exhibition, one of the most important marketing events in the South American country.
“Through the embassy to the United Nations, we are going to propose participation of the member countries of G-77 plus China at the exhibition fair in September in Santa Cruz,” Morales announced at a press conference.
Morales said the presence of those countries would allow Bolivia and the international group to extend trade ties.
“Expocruz will be a very important event for businesspeople, exhibitors and industrialists,” he said.
The city of Santa Cruz is now the new path leading into Bolivia, said Morales, who highlighted the success of the summit held this weekend.
The Bolivian president attributed the meeting’s success to its organization, joint work by authorities, who joined efforts and capacity for logistics, and to the tight security during the event.
“Not to mention, the Bolivian people’s love shown the delegations,” he added.
