Sancti Spiritus’s pottery tradition gets stronger with the celebration of the EnBarrArte fouth biennial event, to take place until August 17th, in this central Cuban city.

Vice-President of the Latin American Association of Plastic Arts Agustín Villafaña, told Cuban News Agency (AIN, in Spanish), that Sancti Spiritus meeting is characterized by the exchange between different generations of ceramists, and also by its links with the community.

Villafaña considers EmBarrArte as the major event of this kind in central Cuba, where it is possible to have both, practice and theoretical exchange with renowned specialists.

The 5th forum, which will coincide with the celebration of the 500th foundation anniversary of the village, is expected to be attended by ceramists from Latin America.
