Raul Castro Welcomes Chinese Military Delegation

Cuban President Raul Castro welcomed Lieutenant General Qi Jianguo, Deputy Chief of Staff of China’s Armed Forces, who paid a visit to Cuba on the invitation of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces. The meeting was attended by the minister of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces Leopoldo Cintras Frias and first deputy minister of the armed

Cuban President Raul Castro welcomed Lieutenant General Qi Jianguo, Deputy Chief of Staff of China’s Armed Forces, who paid a visit to Cuba on the invitation of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces.
The meeting was attended by the minister of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces Leopoldo Cintras Frias and first deputy minister of the armed institution Alvaro Lopez Miera. Also present was Chinese ambassador to Cuba Zhang Tuo.

The visit contributed to strengthening historic relations between China and Cuba as well as cooperation links between both armed institutions.
