Food production and crime control will be analyzed in Cuba

Food production and crime control will be the focus of the agenda of the 8th Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, which will meet on July 5 and 6.

The Party will also analyze matters related to the prevention and confrontation of corruption, crime, illegalities and social indiscipline, phenomena that threaten the social well-being and requires the conscious participation of everyone. These issues are classified by the country’s leadership as national security, since their stability offers guarantees for the gradual recovery of national life.

In the Plenary Session, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee will also report on its management in the period since the previous meeting.
