Cuba demands that the US return territory occupied in Guantánamo

In his account on X, the foreign minister also urged Washington to close the prison that it opened, 22 years ago, in the Naval Base located in that space in eastern Cuba.

The head of Cuban diplomacy denounced that in said prison, the United States has 30 prisoners arbitrarily detained, without trial or due process, victims of torture and degrading treatment that violate human rights.
