Cuban long jumper Juan Miguel Echevarria will be participating in the Lievin Hauts de France Pas de Calais meeting, along with his compatriots Maikel Masso and Lester Lescay.
Echevarria, one of the main attractions of the event and leader of the ranking with 8.18 meters, was the winner in the last world indoor competition, as well as in his first presentation in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The Caribbean athletes will be competing with Greek Miltiadis Tentoglou and Portuguese Thiago Montler, who have also obtained shown good results in this winter campaign. The event will be the highlight among the eight events scheduled for women and men.
The Lievin meeting is a gold category meeting on the World Athletics Indoor Tour.
