Both leaders emphasized the excellent state of relations between Venezuela and Cuba
The President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers, yesterday afternoon February 1, received Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Alberto Arreaza Monserrat, who is making a working visit to the island, as part of a regional tour with stops in several countries.
During the fraternal meeting, the two leaders emphasized the excellent state of bilateral relations their countries share and discussed current regional issues.
The Cuban President reiterated the unwavering solidarity of our country with the Bolivarian Revolution and President Nicolás Maduro Moros, as well as Cuba’s confidence in the ability of the sister Venezuelan people and its civic-military to confront current challenges.
Also present during the encounter were José Ramón Machado Ventura, a vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers, and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
