The ancient village of Sancti Spiritus, in central Cuba, has for years been considered as a city for transit tourism, since visitors only came here for short stays on their way to Trinidad, or to other cities in the eastern provinces.
But this is not the case anymore. The 502-year-old city is becoming more and more attractive for tourists, who now prefer to stay longer so as to go sightseeing the many wonderful sites we’ve got over here.
No matter how bright the sun shines, tourists walk up and down the streets of the town, trying to capture images of the unique architecture of the buildings, or the particular way of life we live.
