Raúl Castro Welcomed Leaders Attending Signing of Colombian Peace Agreements

Army General Raúl Castro, president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, and Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez received the leaders attending the signing of Colombian Peace Agreements.

Several heads of state came to Havana to participate in the historic event, including the Presidents of El Salvador, Salvador Sánchez Cerén, and the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina, CELAC president pro tempore.

Also attending the ceremony are Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and Chilean President, Michelle Bachelet, whose nations are accompanying the peace process.

Special guest, UN Secretary Genral Ban Ki-Moon will also be present at the signing ceremony.
