The President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, Jose Mario Vaz, arrived in Cuba on Wednesday afternoon for an official visit, which will end on October 1
Upon his arrival at Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport, the
African head of state was received by Deputy Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra and his country’s ambassador to Havana, Abel Coelho de Mendonça.
As part of his agenda, the Guinean President will hold official talks
with Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers.
Also during his stay, President Vaz will pay tribute to National Hero
Jose Marti at the monument named after the Apostle, located at Revolution Square, and will visit the Park to African National Heroes, in this capital.
