Madonna turns 58 this August 16 and her visit to Cuba follows a trip to Africa with her children where she visited several communities and shared with the villagers.
Her entourage includes het stylists B. Akerlund and Andy Lecompte, and photographer Steven Klein. On her first night she visited Old Havana, and dined in a restaurant at the Old Town’s Square, where hundreds of Cubans cheered her when they learnt of her presence.
