Finnish Secretary of State Pays Official Visit to Cuba

Secretary of State at Finland’s Foreign Ministry Peter Stenlund is paying a working visit to Cuba. The visiting Finnish diplomat will hold official talks with local authorities, among other activities

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the visiting Finnish diplomat will hold official talks with local authorities and will meet a program aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Finland and Cuba.

Last March Cuban government vice-president Ricardo Cabrisas and Finnish Under-secretary of State Pirkko Hamalainen penned an accord to restructure the Cuban debt to Finland.
