Cuban troubadour Pedro Luis Ferrer performed last Wednesday night, at Trinidad’s Municipal History Museum, former Cantero Palace. He was accompanied by his daughter Lena, and his brother Raul Ferrer.
After giving a concert in Havana, the poet, composer and singer, born in the municipality of Yaguajay, central Cuba, travelled to the third village founded in Cuba, to offer a single show, accompanied by his daughter Lena, and his brother Raul Ferrer.
“Trinidad, like Sancti Spiritus and the area around Yaguajay have an interesting cultural music. I’m interested about Trinidad because whenever I come here, I find good trova musicians, and traditional music followers”, said Pedro Luis Ferrer in exclusive interview to Escambray.
Several local artists are expected to joint Ferrer’s show, like Inti Santana.
