Renowned Cuban shooter Eglys de la Cruz got her second gold medal in the Central American and Caribbean Games in the Women’s Individual 50m Rifle 3 Positions (452.5 points).
Eglys de la Cruz, from the central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus, grabbed a second gold medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games Veracruz 2014, and ended her participation in the regional event with four medals.
The athlete, aged 34, was the title holder of the Women’s Ind. 10m Air Rifleand the Women’s Ind. 50m Rif 3 Position, while the second place was in the Women’s Ind. 50m Rif Prone, and the bronze in Women’s Team 10m Air Rifle.
Cuba dominates the shooting standings with 9-5-5 record.
