Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that he met with Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro for four hours in Havana, following the recently held ALBA special summit on Ebola.
During a meeting of the Caracas Federal Council of Government, Maduro said that he and Fidel addressed issues related to the agrarian and the food revolution needed in Latin America.
“The key problem, which Fidel considers for the future is the food revolution and meeting food needs, as well as the huge potential of Venezuela and other countries of the region to provide high-quality food, said Maduro quoted in an article on the webpage of the Bolivarian Information System.
