Significant investments have been scheduled this year for the tourism area.
According to the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) Representative in the region, Reinier Rendón, special priority is given to Pansea Hotel, and Iznaga Palace, both of which will have the five-star standard.
Refurbishment works have been planned as well in Brisas Trinidad del Mar, and Las Cuevas resorts, along the restoration of local camping facilities.
The construction of Ancon Peninsula new projected hotels will finally start this year. This is a real challenge for tourism authorities taking into consideration the amount of rooms to be built (400), and the human and technical resources needed, added Rendón.
