White Cement Production Stable in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba

Sancti Spiritus’s Siguaney cement factory reports stable levels of production of white cement this year. According to the factory’s director Jorge Luis Calero Acosta, it has been so far possible to meet local and other Cuban territories’ demands.

This is the only factory of its kind where white cement is produced in the island.

Among the several products that are manufactured in this plant, the PP-25 cement variety (formerly known as PP-250) stands out, said Calero, since it is highly demanded for house building actions.

The prestigious local cement industry also processes P-35 cement (P-350), recommended for manufacturing resistant prefabricated materials, as well as the so-called special cements.
