Sancti Spiritus’s Campismo Popular (Camping) Company hasn’t taken false steps in 2013. This assertion might be considered sensational, but it’s a true fact.
Local camping facilities have so far hosted over 30 700 people, 4 190 more than expected.
The so-called high camping season, which lasted from mid June to September 15th, was a profitable one this year, according to the records of the six camp sites that exist in the province.
Hernán Cancio Lorenzo, director of the company, said that outcomes are not a matter of chance, and highlighted the overall balance of Bamburanao and La Hormiga camp sites, located in the local municipalities of Yaguajay and Fomento, respectively.
He also emphasized on the booking availability in the eigh municipalities of the territory, and the possibility of state transportation for the campers.
Despite the positive results so far attained, the company must keep on working to improve the quality of the services by training human resources better.
In this respect, Hernan Ricardo briefed on what is being done to solve this and other problems like the actions to be taken to solve the lack of water in Jatibonico’s Poza Azul camp bathing area.
