Tourism Minister: FITCUBA 2012 was a Huge Success

Cuban Minister of Tourism Manuel Marrero announced the next Fair will have Varadero resort as its venue next May 7-10, and it will be dedicated to the sun and beach modality. He also said Brazil will be the guest country.
Cuban Minister of Tourism Manuel Marrero said that the International Tourism Fair FITCUBA 2012, that was held on May 8-11 with the participation of over 900 entrepreneurs, tour operators, travel agents and personalities from 39 countries, was a huge success.

Marrero announced the next Fair will have Varadero resort as its venue next May 7-10, and it will be dedicated to the sun and beach modality. He also said Brazil will be the guest country, as Cuba is targeting new emerging tourist emitting markets.

Regarding this year, Marrero said the Fair had provided them with a great opportunity to show the specialists the Villa Clara Keys, which are becoming one of Cuba´s hottest destinations.

During the last day of the Fair the participants toured Remedios city, Cuba´s National Monument.
