Nicaraguan commander Tomas Borge, founder of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN), died from a pulmonary condition, PL news agency reported.
Borges had been hospitalized for several weeks at the Managua-based Alejandro Davila Bolaños military hospital, where he passed away Monday night, as announced by the coordinator of the Communication and Citizenship Council, Rosario Murillo.
Murillo said that Commander Borge, 81, was also Nicaragua´s ambassador to Peru and he dedicated his revolutionary life to serve the people. (Taken from RHC)
